Butt welding of bars

Butt-upset welders are used for butt welding by the upset method of bars with a circular, square or rectangular section, made of low-carbon and alloy steel, copper and aluminium.

It is possible to modify our welders to allow to a butt weld a bar to surfaces of another element (e.g. side surface of a bar).

A ZDZ-7 welder type is an example of a butt-upset welder used for butt welding by the upset method of bars with a with a circular, square or rectangular section, made of low-carbon and alloy steel, copper and aluminium, with a diameter ranging from 4 to 14 mm. The welders are featured with simple mechanical units to set the pressure force, shortening and welding current, which facilitates setting of the right welding parameters. The welders are equipped with a weld annealing unit.

ASPA product range includes complex butt welders with pneumatic clamps and microprocessor welding controllers.
