Projection welders allow joining of particularly massive metal elements for which spot welding would be diificult or impossible. Projection welding machines have a higher welding force as compared to other welder types. During welding process, the electric current flow melts the projections forming metallic joints in these places.
The machines are provided with a modern mikroprocessor control system type Ratia 73 IQ1 produced by Harms+Wende which ensures precise setting of the welding process parameters (welding current and time) and stabilizes the welding current at supply voltage variations. The permanent monitoring of the welder status by the self–diagnostics system increases its reliability, protects against damages and facilitates trouble-shooting.
